My research interests include interfacing bioengineering, neuroscience and medicine from the molecular to the behavioral scale, and the application of quantitative phase microscopy techniques to biomedical problems.

CCIL Planning Grant Powers Up Pioneering Glioblastoma Research
Elsa U. Pardee Foundation provided a grant of $173,665 for the research team a grant led by Cancer Center at Illinois (CCIL) member Sara Pedron-Haba. CCIL member Kim Selting, an associate professor of veterinary clinical medicine, and Catherine Best-Popescu, professor of bioengineering, are co-PIs on this innovative project.
